This hand-painted archangel figurine is inspired by the classical Spanish Baroque sculptural tradition as found in cathedral and church art. The figure depicts a mature, bearded archangel in a dynamic standing pose, body turned slightly to one side with dignified bearing and purposeful movement. The head is turned with a composed and resolute expression of divine purpose. One hand holds an ornate incense censer (thurible) hanging by a chain, a powerful symbol of liturgical worship and sacred presence, while the other hand holds the chain in a natural, deliberate gesture. Bilateral wings rise compactly upward and behind the figure in a semi-spread position, rendered in rich ivory and cream tones with warm golden highlights.
